In late May, I interviewed David Watson, the Academic Dean and professor of New Testament at United Theological Seminary in Dayton Ohio, and the lead editor of Firebrand magazine for the En Route podcast. We talked about classical liberalism, the church, and the rise of postmodern liberalism. In this clip, David talks about how the church needs to be a truthteller, which means the church is willing to speak the truth even if it means attacking sacred cows that people like.
